I’m Jeanne Atkins, the heart behind Athena’s Go Travel. At 54, I bring not only life experience but also passion, resilience, and a love for exploring the world. As a proud mother of four adult children—Paul (35), Sandra (34), Constance (32), and Corey (31)—and grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren, Lailena (14), Alianah (12), Katalina (4), Arabella (2), and baby Camden (7 months), family is at the center of everything I do. Originally from Oregon, I’ve lived in different parts of the United States, giving me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, landscapes, and ways of life. My own journey—complete with challenges, growth, and three marriages—has taught me the value of resilience, adaptability, and seizing opportunities when they arise. Travel has always been more than just a passion—it’s my calling. I have a profound enthusiasm for history and love uncovering stories hidden within ancient ruins, historic landmarks, and cultural treasures around the globe. Every trip I design is inspired by my belief that travel enriches our lives, connects us to the world, and creates memories that shape who we are. Beyond travel, family, and history, I’m also a twin to my sister Julie and a proud sister to Jennifer, which makes me value connection, support, and shared experiences even more deeply.
